What You Will Learn

Provide First Aid will give you the confidence and skills in how to provide first aid response, life support Including Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and management of casualty(s) until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

Pre-course Learning
Once booked you will receive an email with a link to Allens Training (the RTO we partner with). Simply complete the learning module (approx 30-45 minutes), print* it out and bring your proof of completion certificate to the course.
*If you don't have a printer, simply take a screenshot with your mobile and bring it with you to the course
Attend our hands-on training day and be sure to bring:
  • Completed Online Certificate Page
  • Wear comfortable clothing
  • Pen
  • Form of identification (Drivers License, Passport, Photo I.D. Card, Student card)
Course Variances
Course durations reflect group sizes of between 4 and 15 participants. If there are less students, you may find course duration reduced by a maximum of 10%. If your group exceeds 15 participants it may also be necessary to increase course length depending on the number of participants.
Physical Requirements
It is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least 2 minutes on a CPR manikin placed on the floor.
Recertification
It is recommended HLTAID003 be renewed every 3 years in line with industry standards
Your Certificate Upon Completion:
What you will receive on successful completion of the course:
On successful completion of the Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) unit which incorporates the content of the following units: (HLTAID002) Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and (HLTAID001) Provide CPR, students will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years from the course completion date.

Your Certificate(s) will be emailed to you on the next business day. If you need it urgently, please contact us at the time of booking via Notes section in your booking.

HLTAID003 is a 5.5 hour course with 3 Units of Competency recorded on your Statement of Attainment.

  • HLTAID001 Provide CPR
  • HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support
  • HLTAID003 Provide first aid

If a hard copy of the certificate is required, this needs to be requested in advance. An extra $5 will be added for this. Please note hard copies will take between 5-10 business days to arrive based on Australia post).
